Christy is from Treynor, IA, where she was a four-sport athlete, excelling in cross country and track. She attended Creighton University, earning undergraduate degrees in Exercise Science and Psychology, as well as her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. Christy is an experienced runner who has competed in three Olympic Trials in Marathon as well as in more than 50 marathons and 300 races, ranging from 5k to 50 milers. She is a certified coach with the Road Runners Club of America and has focused the majority of her continuing education on the treatment of runners and endurance athletes. Christy is certified in Kinesio Taping®, Graston Technique®, and Functional Dry Needling.
